This action will become a trend for the next protest in the Philippines.

A group of student members of the League of Filipino Students (LFS) to protest fuel price hike by sleeping on his stomach (planking) on the road. As a result, traffic on España Boulevard, the Philippines, suffered severe congestion.

Quoted from page CBN News, Monday, September 19, 2011, they take action snooze for 10 minutes on the road Dela Fuente Street, tip España Boulevard. According to Chairman Terry Ridon LFS, the action is a form of solidarity towards the jeepney drivers in Metro Manila who previously did the same action.

Action sleep on his stomach will also be carried out again to protest education budget cuts, added Ridon. He also criticized the plea of the Minister of Transport, Mar Roxas, for students to not participate in conducting protests. "Statement of Senator Roxas was unfortunate, because he himself is usually appealing to students if it is needed political support," said Ridon.
