Top News: Mediterranean Diet Make Longevity

The effect was more evident in women, with a live 15 years longer.

Those who do the Mediterranean diet and combined with exercise and not smoking can survive healthy for 15 years. She was also longer than those who did not.

This conclusion is expressed by researchers from the University of Maastricht. Research take up to 10 years involving 120 thousand respondents aged men and women who average 55 to 69 years in 1986. Mediterranean Diet relies on the consumption of vegetables, olive oil, nuts, fish, grains, and low in meat, and alcohol.

The effect of this diet was evident in women. Respondents women can live 15 years longer than those who at least in a healthy condition. Meanwhile, male respondents can live eight years longer.
