New Study: Hand Washing Increase Confidence

Those clean hands with soap tend to make bold decisions.

Hand washing is one of the simplest ways to maintain cleanliness. But who would have thought if hand washing was found to increase self-confidence.

The discovery, published in the Journal of Experimental Psychology revealed that one's willingness to take risks in depending on it to wash hands before or not.

The researchers found that those who clean your hands with soap after contemplating the unpleasant events are more likely to make a bold move than those who do not wash their hands.

As reported by Science Daily, the research was conducted by Rami Zwick University of California in collaboration with Alison Jing Xu of the University of Toronto, and Norbert Schwarz of the University of Michigan.
They mention that it is influenced by the 'magical beliefs' (magical beliefs) that is the feeling that you can predict and influence a decision with a measure of control that is not appropriate in a situation.

This study included 59 business students at a university in North America. Half of the respondents were asked to recall events that benefit financially and the other half were asked to recall events that are financially detrimental.
