India Amazing Woman - Tomar, World's Oldest Female Sniper


If another elderly woman enjoying her old age to relax and hang out with the children and grandchildren, not so with Chandro Tomar. The 78-year-old woman is still active and has a unique hobby. At the age is advanced, it is still eager to cultivate Tomar shooting practice.

"I want to do something useful for others in my life. And I want to show my skills to others," Tomar said as quoted by the Daily Mail, Sunday, March 25, 2012.

According to Tomar, when she first held the pistol he felt so comfortable and did not feel afraid. In fact, she immediately fell in love with a deadly weapon.

"As soon as I held the gun for the first time, I was immediately hooked," she said.

Tomar story, 10 years ago when one of his grandson to accompany a shooting club for exercise, she began wanting to come to practice. Tomar also welcome to train at the club. And she makes the club's coach surprised by his ability.

"At first I only support the grandchildren, but I actually really enjoyed it and excited. Coach was amazed by my ability. And I regularly go to clubs every weekend," she said excitedly.

However, not everyone is convinced by her ability to shoot straight. Age who are not young anymore, making the people around her eyes would look next to the skill shot. After all, Tomar did not bother.

"Now I can show to everyone, though an old woman, I can. If you focus, you can do anything," she said confidently.

The coach, Farooq Pathan, also praised the ability of Tomar is considered remarkable. According to Pathan, he was surprised because there is such a great grandmother shot.

"She made man unsure of himself and trying to avoid it for fear of being humiliated. He has an uncanny ability, steady hands and sharp eyes," he said.

Tomar was the pride of India. She has become an invaluable asset for the country. Tomar has won 25 national title shot. In fact, Tomar said proudly, she had beaten India police officer .

Currently, Tomar believed to be a sniper of the oldest in the world. Everyday, she carried a gun up for £ 1,200, or about Rp17, 4 million.

Tomar was mighty when cocked rifle. So anyway, she did not forget her duty as a woman and mother. She's still cooking, cleaning, and caring for the children and grandchildren. She also never forget to make dinner for the whole family.
