Israel News - Israel bombed Palestine, 16 Killed

A total of 16 Palestinians were killed in a deadly air strike launched by Israel into Gaza, Palestine's largest city, within two days. According to Israeli authorities, their action is a retaliation for rockets fired into the area about 100 southern Israel from the Gaza.

Parties to the United States called the Palestinian rocket attacks "acts of cowardice", while the Arab League condemned the Israeli retaliatory action as a "massacre."

Abu Obaida, spokesman for the Brigades of Hamas, Izzedine al-Qassam Brigades, warned Israel would "pay for his deeds" of Gaza. "Palestinian fighters have something that can interfere with attempts by the Zionist occupation. We will not stand by and watch their attacks," he said.
The dispute was triggered by an Israeli attack on a car passing by on the streets of Gaza City, Friday, March 9, 2012, and killed Zohair al-Qaisi, secretary general of the Popular Resistance Committee (PRC), and two deputies.

Gaza militants responded by immediately removing the rocket-rocket into southern Israel. Israel said four people were injured in the attack.

PRC is a combination of several armed Palestinian factions that oppose the peaceful approach to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict initiated by the Palestinian Authority and Fatah party.
Group of doctors who treated victims of the attacks claimed 26 Palestinians were injured, five of them seriously, in an attack two days.

Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak, said, "The Israeli army will attack anyone that attempts to injure the citizens of Israel." viva
